Level of performance for Student Participation

Dear Prof. Brad, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing this email to you to share my thoughts about my own performance in this module, Critical Thinking and Communications, throughout this trimester. Throughout this trimester, I managed to achieve 100% attendance and was punctual for all lessons with the exception of one in which I was late for almost ten minutes due to poor time management. For the submission of assignments, I was always on time or earlier as I believe that I should put in as much effort as you do to start looking at our work right after the submission time. Although I did not ask insightful questions that may benefit the class, I was able to consult you for feedback and share it with the rest of the class. During discussions, I may not be the one to initiate within my group, but I will try my best to keep the conversation going for my group to achieve as much information as possible. As much as I want proper and positive feedback given to me, I will do the s...

Critical Reflection

Module Learning Before taking up this module, Critical Thinking and Communications, I was weak in areas such as presentation, research analysis, and academic writing. I was not confident that I would do well. In the first few lessons, I was told to write an introductory letter to Prof. Brad stating my strengths, weaknesses, and goals for the module. My goal was to improve on all my weak areas and be a great classmate. Throughout the 13 weeks, I was able to find gradual improvements in myself every lesson. I was able to step out of my comfort zone to conquer my weaknesses with constant help and feedback from my classmates and Prof. Brad. I was able to practice my presentation skills when I was called out to read a paragraph in class, practice self-introduction, and research topics pitching with classmates. Although I was not able to perform my best in the oral presentation, I was able to bring out express my strengths such as natural gestures and usage of proper language. As for academi...

Hyundai’s (n.d.) website, under the section “Kona Electric Sporty Performance”, introduces its intelligent Regenerative Braking System (RBS). According to an article from Energy5 (2023), when an electric vehicle (EV) with RBS brakes, the operation of the car motor reverses, hence generating electricity to recharge the battery (Energy5, 2023). It can adapt to traffic conditions or be controlled manually by the paddle shifters located behind the steering wheel, to control the level of regenerative braking. At the same time, pushing and holding the left paddle shifter activates the one-paddle mode. The purpose of this is to decelerate the vehicle without the usage of the conventional brake pedal. Charging is also strongest in the one-paddle mode (Hyundai, n.d.). In addition, according to Moore (2023), the Kona Electric offers a range of four distinct regenerative braking settings, spanning from 0 to 3. At level 0, there is no regenerative braking, while at level ...

1. I have done research on the statistics of dehydration in people in America. I have looked up sources from Google that have been stated or medically reviewed by certified doctors. Through this research, I was able to find out how many people are suffering from severe dehydration annually and the severity of dehydration. 2. I have done research on different types of Smart Water Bottles in the market through Google. Through this research, I am able to identify the uniqueness of each Smart Water Bottle available in the market. However, each of them has its own set of flaws. 3. I have done an analysis and comparison between the different Smart Water Bottles in the market, identifying features my group would like to have in our ideal bottle to counter the identified problem. Some examples of the features include hydration tracking, wireless charging, interval notifications, etc. 4. To collate ideas for our ideal products, I have used ChatGPT to generate ideas on the ideal features a Smart...
